Ingredients
Sugar, egg white, cream, vegetable fat (palm, rapeseed, shea), egg yolk, buttermilk powder, almonds (4,5%), sunflower kernels, cocoa butter, apricot kernels, whey powder (from milk), cocoa mass, skimmed milk powder, milk fat, sweetened condensed skimmed milk, invert sugar syrup, brown sugar, salt, emulsifier (soya lecithin), flavouring.
May contain traces of peanuts and other nuts.

Defrosting
At room temperature, wrapping removed: Slice 20 minutes, whole cake 30 minutes.

Serving tips
This cake can easily be cut while frozen. When cutting, use a sharp knife dipped in hot water. We recommend serving it chilled, although it also tastes excellent at room temperature.

Almondy almond cake with Daim served with toffee cream and redcurrants
For 12 servings you will need:
12 portions Almondy almond cake with Daim
1 tin (397 g) sweetened condensed milk
a few bunches of redcurrants
Nice and simple:
Remove the label from the tin and wash off any glue. Place the tin in a saucepan and completely cover with water. Bring to the boil and allow the tin to simmer, covered, for two hours. Allow the tin to return to room temperature before opening it. Spoon or pipe the cold toffee cream onto the cake portions and garnish with redcurrants. Very simple and irresistibly good!
Daim Kids Sundae
Ingredients
- Almondy Daim Cake
- Vanilla ice cream
- Mini marshmallows
- Strawberry sauce
- Chocolate sprinkles
- Chocolate wafers
Method
- Defrost a slice of Almondy Daim Cake and cut into small chunks
- Place 2-3 small scoops of vanilla ice cream in a bowl, ramekin or sundae glass
- Add the chunks of Almondy Daim Cake
- Top with mini marshmallows, strawberry sauce and chocolate sprinkles
- Finish with chocolate wafers
Serving Suggestion
Why not serve in a mini pot or ramekin making a smaller, child friendly serving? Or alternatively you could make the basic sundae and then give mini pots of the marshmallows and sprinkles for children to make their own.
Daim Sundae
Ingredients
- Almondy Daim Cake
- Vanilla ice cream
- Chocolate sauce
- Caramel sauce
- Crushed almonds
Method
- Defrost a slice of Almondy Daim Cake and cut into small chunks
- Place 3-4 small scoops of vanilla ice cream in a bowl, ramekin or sundae glass
- Add the chunks of Almondy Daim Cake
- Top with crushed almonds, caramel sauce and chocolate sauce
Serving Suggestion
Use a tall sundae glass for this sumptuous recipe in order to create the perfect, jaw-dropping delicious dessert! You can also add some chocolate ice cream for an even sweeter sundae.

Almonds are the base of everything we do. Our cakes also contain milk and eggs. The majority of them also contain soya lecithin.
